Friends, we don’t have the space at SOU tomorrow so there won’t be an official fighter practice, but my shop will be open for making new things, fixing old things, or just hanging out and talking about making things and fighting. If the weather cooperates, there’s room for fighting out front. Thursday 6 to whenever we get too cold and leave, address in the link.
The armoring will be on small things that new folks need to get started; gorgets, demis, and the like. I can also help with fixing and improving your gear. I’ve got patterns, leather, various thicknesses of steel, and rivets galore, please bring a few bucks to cover materials though I have some things that I can share freely if you’re strapped. I have lots of tools but if you bring your own be sure to label them well! If you just want to help fix up loaner gear, that would be equally awesome!
In addition to armoring I can help out with a rather wide range of projects if space permits, hit me up if there’s something you have in your head but lack the tools to pursue.
I’ll try to do at least one more of these in December so don’t worry about starting something that can’t be finished in one evening.
One of my kids has the plague so don’t count on the house being available for seeking warmth, bundle up and come hit metal until it looks how you want it to!
